Asplenium nidus Crispy Wave also goes by the name of the Pleated Bird’s Nest Fern. It is an easy going houseplant that looks super unique with its stiff, green, waves upright fronds.
Originally from Asia it likes a hot and humid spot like the bathroom or kitchen and does well in terrariums. This little guy is a popular choice and known for his air purifying abilities…. rumour has it the rippled fronds allow this plant to filter carbon dioxide into oxygen. Sometimes I will get brown spots on my fronds just cut the leaf off on an angle at the base so it can focus its energy on creating new leaves.
