Ficus elastica Burgundy is the darkest of the Ficus elastica.  He’s a popular rubber plant with burgundy to almost black fleshy leaves.
Burgundy suits an office desk, brightens a bookcase and brings some interest into the bedroom. Ficus suits every room in the house and enjoys bright light, but be careful not to place him in direct sunlight or he’ll burn.
Burgundy is easy to care for. Plant him up in free-draining compost and only water when the compost is dry down to a few centimetres. Wipe the leaves down if they get dusty and that’s it. Yes, really! If you need any more help read our blog.
