Hoya Carnosa Pink

The Hoya carnosa Pink is also commonly known as the Wax Plant, Hindu Rope Plant or the Waz Stemmed Plant. This hardy indoor climber has been around forever. She is a gorgeous tropical climber with big green leaves and clusters of waxy pink flowers that are shaped like little stars. This indoor houseplant is a favourite amongst collectors, indoor plant enthusiasts and the amateur green thumb. 

Hoyas flourish in very bright light, in dappled shade areas and under patios in warmer zones. A touch of free-draining soil yeah they like that!

• Uses: This plant is fantastic indoors in a hanging basket. It particularly does well in the bathroom or the kitchen. If planting outside make sure it is in a protected area 

• Mature size: 60cm-1m high, 30-60cm wide

• Light requirements: Bright, indirect light away from hot windows 

• Key notes: They love a little bit of attention but give her room – she doesn’t like to be pampered, touched or moved too often
