Jasminum ‘Grand Duke of Tuscany’

The Grand Duke of Tuscany is a fragrant Jasmine that will adorn your Summer garden with masses of ivory-white flowers and fill your Winter garden with much-needed greenery.

Check out the petals on this Duke. They are rounded, double and highly fragrant. You can use these for flavouring Jasmine tea if you’re so inclined. If not, just enjoy the fragrance and pollinators they will attract.

Predominantly a climber this white Jasmine will quickly cover a wall or an eye-sore building.

He can grow in a pot, hanging basket, or over a pergola too.The Grand Duke of Tuscany has an intoxicating perfume.

If you are able to mass plant the Duke, his effect is breath-taking. A sheet of ivory-white flowers clinging to your wall is a proper show-stopper. 

This is a hardy plant that doesn’t ask for much except decent soil, water in hot dry months and an annual application of fertiliser. Enjoy this delicate, perfumed flower that is often used in Garlands especially in Indian weddings. They are considered good luck and a sign of future prosperity and fortune.
