Lavender Frenchette “Lavandula dentata” is a beautiful plant which can be planted in groups to create a stunning feature within your garden. It has grey-green, linear or lance-shaped leaves with toothed edges and lightly woolly texture. The long-lasting, narrow spikes of purple flowers, topped with pale violet bracts, first appear in late spring. The whole plant is strongly aromatic with the typical lavender fragrance, you just can’t stop sniffing her!

What to use me for: I look grand in a flower border or pot and especially suit a seating area. Bring my flowers indoors to dry out and during winter you can keep my scent under your pillow for restful sleep.

Soil Conditions: It must be dry and well-drained because no lavenders appreciate a soggy backside. I like alkaline soils and need little water once established.
