Microsorum Diversifolium is also known as the Kangaroo Fern. It’s a lovely Australian native fern with glossy green fronds that grow in irregular sizes and shapes – that’s where the ‘diverse’ part of its name comes from.
It’s a great indoor plant if you need texture and really suits an epiphytic set up such as a log or cracked rock. If you don’t fancy that, this fern is low-growing enough for a hanging basket or groundcover in shaded situations.  Â
You’ll need to keep an indoor Kangaroo fern in bright indirect sunlight and lay off the watering can until it’s dry. Read our guide to indoor plants if you need a hand.
