Nephrolepis Exaltata Bostoniensis 85mm

Nephrolepis exaltata Bostoniensis or you might know her better as the “Boston Fern” is an easy to please and a non-toxic houseplant that will be sure to purifier your air.

Flicking through Pinterest you might have come across photos of interiors from the 70s filled with lush looking houseplants – I can guarantee the Boston Fern would have been sitting front and centre. It has been around for decades and for good reasons too – it is easy to care for and gives off an instant lush vibe. 

It has big arching green fronds making it perfect for hanging baskets. If you happen to neglect it to the point of brown leaves cut them off and they will most likely reshoot.

• What to use me for: Great addition to your jungalow and digs your bathroom, lounge room – anywhere that has nice filtered light and humidity.

• I grow to: 30-60cm high, 60m wide 

• Where to place me: Bright indirect light indoors or full shade outdoors

• Watering conditions: I like to be constantly moist so please keep the water up to me. Liquid feed me only in the growing seasons which is Spring-Summer.

• Soil Conditions: I like a well-draining soil mixture with a good amount of peat moss for moisture retention
